Can Lice Crawl on Clothing?

So, yes, they can crawl on clothing.
In fact, this is how most of them make a move from one host to another. If you give your clothing to someone who has been infested, the chances are that you will get it back with some lice.
So, after you wear the same, the head lice will move from your clothing to your head.
This is why it is always recommended that you wash your clothing after a successful head lice treatment.
This way you will prevent re-infestation.
Also, if you borrow a shirt or coat, or get it back from someone who has head lice, it’s better to put it away for two days, because if it has any lice, they will die within 2 days. Thus, it will be safe for you to put it on.
